The Taste Of Tea
‘You carry me, and my load of tea,
I torture you, I do,’
Said the cup to the saucer,
It flings a taunt.
The saucer does not respond,
It is neither a vital accessory,
Nor the one that protects the cup;
It collects the spills.
There is a connect;
Both, from the cup and the saucer, tea is sipped,
Those in the know say –
The taste does differ.
