Tattered Hearts

Untitled (2/25/2013) A struggle, every moment you without You pretend to care, I guess that would make me a No, more specifically your personal fool Each hug and kiss, just an empty meaningless lie To think you were ever my carnation My white rose, the yes of my no’s But the poison I chose The one sneaking it right under my nose Our love, the cons and pros Are now lain for all to be see Murder, murder she wrote on this note Spread across my chest The pain vested in me By way of the additional strength you provide All the women I allowed to skip past to keep You pale in comparison to Oh my the pain of unbridled truth That they all offered me much more than you could ever offer me Time after time, tediousness of thought Offers of true happiness and TLC Were turned down for you I, by you was judged upon the basis of faith You had no idea what I was capable of was your statement Claim to love Jesus but it seems you learned a lot from Satan But I’m not upset, I’m sure you miss the sensation Or the sin satiated that appetite Get your head in straight And get your life right Just know that the next might not be so nice The arguments and accusations All appear to be nothing more than Attempts at aversion of blame To them not attached Quantifiable proof, or even a name Our difficulty you wanted rectify But time after time you feed me excuses with an underhand Accompanied by the delivery of underhanded lies Hm, really makes me wonder the validity behind those proclaimed cries Wondering how long ago broken were our bonds Our “fragile” love ties Broken from bind You tell me that it was the loneliness Taking its toll on you It’s cool, just don’t try and take me for a fool I was just as lonely as you And I curtailed countless advances to keep you To the temptation I should indeed have submitted to Committed my very own crime of passion But that would have made me no better Maybe I should have lied to, and mislead you As was my first impulse to…
