Tattoo
Her hair shines radiantly underneath
the brightest star
I wonder where she is,
I hope she doesn't stray far.
She was once alone,
broken,
but she wasn't unknown.
Uneasy eyes looked upon her.
She had no clue,
but she was no amateur.
This was not her tattoo.
Despite apprehensive masses,
she ran through fields of purple.
She could never be trapped
in their vicious circle.
She marked herself with
an almost joyous sentiment.
A tattoo to match her content,
it was self-love she would reinvent.
"Because I'll always love you,"
she giggled softly.
She'd never let things fall through.
