Taunting His Mind


The sticky red substance, bruises and blisters, engulf his now broken body. Captured with the intent to kill, but left to suffer and die alone. Cold cement, no escape, bars hold him captive. He attempts to open his swollen eyes, only to find pure darkness. The foul smell of decomposing bodies ignites a new fear; hallucinations play with his mind and he bashes his skull repeatedly against the cement floor. The red viscous, profusely bleeding, life no more
