Tea Cups
The sun is up and hot
Restricting and threatening
Hiding under the trees
Cool and wonderful
Let’s go swimming
Let’s go fishing
Bashing the fishes head in
When he was sick with bad scales
Are we still dreaming?
The sun is falling down
The trees are alive and
The wind is blowing us away
We held on to the branches
You sang and played guitar
While the gravity made us fly
I didn’t know your song
I felt squashed like a blueberry
You played with my thumbs
1234 I declare a thumb war
I began to love your song
5678 Meet me at the castle gate
All the trees have faces
And they see you first
While the pumpkin shaped cat kisses and bites
I had no one to make a cup of tea for
The cup is empty
I threw it at you while you were still asleep
But I’m not sorry because I missed
No harm done f*ck you
You make me miserable
Your beautiful eyes
And beautiful voice
I want you to believe like I do
You do not believe like I do
And that's why I throw empty tea cups at you
