TEACH!
Sh*t you can’t tell your teachers
I can’t use Romeo and Juliet in the real world
I need something more
It just makes my head sore
I just can’t see how reading, writing, and sighting will get me anywhere
I want to do something to make me a better leader
Not too were if I forget the answer I have to be a cheater
Because if I don’t pass you’ll all call me dumb
When really I have more common sense than a plum
It’s not that I don’t understand it or get it
It’s that you all don’t give to spits
You sit at your desk and give us a worksheet
And I ask for help but you just sit there in a comfy seat
We all need taught
Not to be bought
We aren’t just another paycheck for your vacation
We are the future of this nation
Please just get up and show us all how an atom works
Not just sit at your desk and give us busy work you jerk
Not all of us learn that way
Now it’s time for me to say
We will only learn if you teach us
Not just let us fall under the bus
And can’t make it out
I’m going to shout
Teachers! Stop being lazy
And just maybe get crazy
Because we give you something in return
And a diploma we want to earn
Just get up and teach is all I ask
Don’t sit there and give us sass
TEACH! If you get up and explain it we will learn it
If you give us a worksheet and expect us to sit
And not understand
I want you to TEACH! It’s my demand.
