Teach me

Matthew 6:33

33 But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness,

and all these things will be given to you as well.

Teach me to stand on my own so I can lean on you

Let me be myself again so I’ll be completely helpless

Lead me to Your Throne in all the things I do

So I will lead a life away from being careless

Help me to see the Way and sent guardian angels

Let them keep me from harm that I bring to myself

Help me to share and pay and deliver me from danger

From folks in this funny farm in their lives of show & tell

Listen to me brother ... I am just like you

Without the Lord Jesus Christ we are all up a creek

Don’t even bother in all the things you do

for nothing will be right unless the Lord you seek
