TEACH ME TO CRY

"TEACH ME TO CRY" Bruised, beaten Battered by life. Too oft i cry I suck with my pride. . Been tossed left and right I cry day and night. My face's now marred by Permanent tear lines. . I never knew an antidote I'll find., To my alibis and frights Till I walked past that isles And felt cheated by life. . I tried hard to cry But tears I can't find I've forgot how to cry My tear bank has gone dry. . " Like how do you tilt your eyes Whenever you cry? " . I've passed the fire of life I'm refined, to a different guy, When next I'm beaten by life, I'll need a girl or a guy To teach me to cry. Emmanuel Momoh © 2019.
