It's the way that they Intimidate
And make you feel inferior
They question you
After listing their expectations
All of which you fall short of
They create this fake world
Where respect is always present
As if they actually care for you
Even though they don't know you
And it's different, scary
That someone could have
So much power over you
And influence the way
that you react when
being yelled at,
You almost have to
Accept it because of
this strange respect
you have for this person,
And the respect that
they have for you
You don't think that
it is something that
you deserve
The way that they
praise you when
you do something
right, or act concerned,
Worried about you,
It makes you feel as
though something bad
must happen in order
for you to earn this
so-called respect,
because you are
Not Worth It.
