Teacher to Student

Pencil shuffling over the page,

Observations captured at last,

Everything started with a

Teacher who cared.

Real feelings in real words sprout,

Yearning to be heard.

Illuminating hidden wonders in me,

Small in stature, powerful in

Matter, mind, and might,

Is she.

Never giving up on us so we

Ever more will write
