Teacher Understand Please

Teacher, Shut up

Teacher, slow down

Teacher, LET ME TALK

I bet you didn’t know that when some kids reach their home

They can’t do the work

They live so far and try so hard

But what you fail to understand is that when they go home

They have to clean and cook

Worry about if they have to hide and look

Cause an alcoholic only has alcohol when they have money and the same goes for a drug addict

They don’t worry about your financial dues

Then when they go back to school they can’t afford what you put on the table

They’re tired and you don’t understand

You give them detention when they put their head down

And when they look up they wonder why there’s a hole in the ceiling

Aren’t the teachers supposed to care?

It’s not supposed to be destroyed

Some teachers can’t teach and fail to give the student what they need

Then they blame it on you and call your home

Call when you’re late to school and they wonder why

I’m just wondering

Aren’t the teachers supposed to understand?

Teacher, shut up

Teacher, slow down

Teacher, let me talk now
