Teachers

It takes heart to help others

It takes love to nurture like mothers

We grow and learn but often fall short of understanding

But teachers come in as heroes at a time of demanding

Yet we often go about without saying a word of graditude

So we should make saying our thanks of a great magitude

For I realized the major impact that teachers made on me

Teachers became a key and opened my eyes to the world I could not see

So all in all I say this with great admiration

Teachers are my greatest inspiration

I am seventeen years old with a jovial spirit Though I am often shy, I use writing so you can hear it Born and raised in a small Louisiana town I experienced events that made me fall down But as I grow and grow I will not stay bound For I’m a child of God, waiting to receive my crown
