Poetry has taught me numerous of things

Things that will be on my mind for a lifetime

Many life lessons and answers to some of the problems I’m facing

Some things I face are procrastination and depression,

My biggest two that poetry has helped me with,

Seeing that I’m not the only one with the same issues

And seeing there emotion put into words to actually express their feelings

Opening up to different subjects that they are used to discussing

Because how the poets words flow

Finding the exact words to say that make people nod their heads to agree

I can go on and on about the things that poetry has taught me.
