Teaching the Test

Location

When my teacher stresses, I stress.

And when I stress I mess

Up my work, I can't think straight.

I love to learn but that will have to wait

For the tests to be over.

The fate of her job is riding on my shoulders

And not to mention, this one test

Could wreck my GPA and yet

I just want to learn. I want to know the importance of water,

I want to know why cheetahs run faster,

Why plates move and the earth shakes

But all the matters is if I make

The grade. Nothing else.

She wants to teach me so much more

But she can't. She's got to teach the test.
