Tear down just to build

I can be what I want to be

Through my volition

I will cut off these arms

And in their place will be the real me

A pair of wings

To be free

To go further than I ever have before

To soar next to the sun

To make Icarus seethe

In place of my head

I will build a fountain of knowledge

To know the world

To know the past and tomorrow

I will know power

I will know freedom

And with that freedom

I will give it back

To those who can never know it

The way I do

Know it like a lover

The way I do

For me to be free

I need to not be

I need to give it away

To those who cannot free themselves

To those who cannot fight

That is my calling. My purpose. My point.

That is my freedom
