A Tear Stained Rose

Blossoming

Expressionless

Full of words left unsaid

Feelings that were locked away

Unlocked once again

Uncontained sadness

Sudden freedom

Every emotion poured

Glistening

With tears left unshed

Released as they drip

They continue to fall

Beautiful in their own right

Yet devastating to those who watch

Fleeting emotions

The pain is still there

Shared with relief

All shown

Through a tear stained rose

In a society where we are restricted by what we should or shouldn't feel and many hide their real emotions, we can find clues as to how a person truly feels. In this case, it's a tear stained rose.
