Teardrops
Drip,drip,drop/ Slowly they tumble down to the hard ground/ Faster they fall/ A steady stream from above/ Landing with a soft splash/ They quicken, as a gushing fountain, a raging waterfall/ It seems they will never cease/ The product of heartbreak/ Of loss, hurt, and sadness/ They continue/ Gradually the river trickles to a quiet/ Drip, drip, drop/ Drip, drip/ Drop
