Teardrops

Why is life so unfair

As different as hate and love

Like having no sunlight in the winter air

Which should be a gift from above

Teardrops fall down like a stormy night

Drowning in a pool of black and white

Lets hope that I won't get a fright

The sunlight comes and kills the night

I take a deep breath in

The air as cold as ice

I release it and take another in

But then it feels nice and good

Now no more tears fall down my face

Because a smile now takes its place
