Tears

Together we have been for three months now Practically connected, never leaving, always speaking. . . But recently, I've seen your eyes start to wonder Back to her The one who was yours before me, I thought you said "We're only friends" I don't know what to think, she obviously loves you still And you're showing you really care for her Where does that leave me? I don't want to be another rock on the side of the road. . . Tell me now, do you love her? I said, do you love her? I know, I know...you love me! But that doesn't answer the question. I know what your answer will be, so don't lie, please I'm tired of people taking advantage of me Just....please.....tell me what you think when you see her Does your heart skip a beat? Do you get really happy? i know you love embracing her, I see you do it all the time: How come when I am around she has to ask ME for permission, She hasn't ever done that before.... Let me tell you something about me. . . Growing up I have learned to run, I learned that pain comes with everything and It hurts worse when you least expect it, I run from everything that I think may hurt me I don't trust anyone to keep me safe and unharmed I don't even trust myself I am really sorry, but I expect you to hurt me I REALLY, HONESTLY love you but There is something in me telling me to run As I am speaking I am fighting the urge to turn But if you tell me you love me and you don't care for her, I will know you're lying But, my love, tell me the truth...do you love her still? Fine, you can keep her, I know she wants that *The girl ran away in tears, as fast as she could....the next few days she sees them, he looks at her then looks away, once again: she turns and runs as fast as she can fighting the urge to cry until she dies.....*
