Tears

They fall

easily.

Inside,

bubbling and boiling

but not exploding.

Instead

stewing and simmering,

leaking.

So what?

I cry when I’m upset,

I cry when I’m overwhelmed.

But that doesn't mean I’m weak.

-

I am a woman

who cries;

But I am not

a woman

who buckles.
