Tears

Nobody can sympathize what I’m going through,

No one can even try.

At school I’m bouncy and peppy,

But when I get home I cry.

I cry because I am lonely,

Because no one understands.

I cry cuz I saw my best guy friend

With another girl, holding hands.

I cry from confusion—what the heck is going on?

Why do I deserve this? What did I do wrong?

I cry out of frustration, exhaustion, and of pain.

I cry since most of my hope has swirled down the drain.

If tears really wash you clean, I’m as white as snow.

Just one question, God- Are you still with me?

I really need to know.

I highly recommend listening to shane koyczan's instructions for a bad day.

This piece is full of emotions and the content is relatable.. Life is confusing and sometimes you feel alone, just know you arn't. Keep your eyes open and look behind you and you will see an army of people waiting to catch you and help you back up if you fall. It will be ok. Thank you for posting and be sure to send in more of your poetry.
