Tears

These tears that I cry from sunset to sunrise are the depth of my pain the unspoken words of my hurt the loss of my joy the thoughts of why me These tears that I cry are the frustrations of a young woman the endurance of racism the loss of love the memories of happiness the hatred of others the fear of failure and the built up anger These tears that I cry from sunset to sunrise are the release of a victim and the embracing of a victor these tears that I cry have ended the sunset and began the sunrise
