Tears

Within the flow of wind there lies a secret, something ethereal and plenty out of reach.

Some may claim to know the story, yet it's nothing they could teach.

In the shrill winter screams or in a comforting spring lullabye

let them not be fooled, only those free of pain may try...

to feel true relief in Summer's sea breeze or to retain a steel composure in the middle of Fall.

Though humanity at large fails to understand those pages and even the greatest minds cannot recall,

it is silently gathered among Nature's Heart where it lies in wait, away from the pain

of societies true horrors, those without concern...it is all it can do to keep from being slain.

Dormant until time itself fails to exist, or until one truly pure just cannot resist.

It wishes to be loved, or even enjoyed by one who could never betray its newborn dependancy,

but the demons and heartless keep chasing it, allowing no rest....they wish to keep forcing it to flee.

A whisper hidden away, shielded from the lies, protected by other emotions for none can hear the cries.

The center of all dreams, of all life through time is merely a book with a torch to its pages

the reader holds it closer to acquire clarity, caution is required...for we hold the final accelerant to deny ages.
