Tears
Tears are shed every day
But no one seems to care
Smilies are on everyone faces
Some fake and others real
But the tears that the hooded shed are real
The tears that are shed behind backs
In the dark shadows where no one can see
Or hear the cries of the hooded
No one stops to hear the hooded
They just keep walking when they see them
Thinking that not a soul cares for them
The pain eats at them and they begin
To shed more tears and more tears
Until they get sick of shedding tears
Tears are forgotten about
As the hooded searches for a release
From all the pain and suffering
Leading to cutting and watching
Crimson red drip to the floor
Sniffing cocaine to get away
To fly high and never get come down
The addiction gets worse
Popping pills that belong to family
Drinking alcohol to get away
Becoming drunk doesn’t hold
Still looking for someone to talk too
But nowhere’s there in their eyes
After everything that they have done
Tears still make it to their eyes
Running from the tears
Made it worse and because of that
We see the wonderful hooded
Broken and torn to pieces
But if the hooded reaches for help
The pieces floating in the air without a care
Can be put back together slowly
Help is waiting the hooded
The tears run down their faces
As some hooded continue in misery
We find down the wrong road
But help is waiting for them
They just need to come
And that one soul can be save
One less troubled hooded and
One more safe hooded
