Tears and Threads
As she lies awake thinking
Her sadness begins to shine
Through my threads are her tears sinking
I wonder what goes on in her mind.
Tear after tear, night after night
Not a day goes by without her sorrow
I wish I can make everything right
I wish there can be a better tomorrow
Days pass by, and nothing’s changed
But I’m as good as dead
Soaked with tears, filled with pain
Lies me, her pillow, upon her bed.
