TEARS OF A BROKEN HEART

Broken and cracked within,

a lion’s heart

Memories filled with ulcers

Humbled in a saint’s image

No more kisses

No more smiles

Only drought for my sight

The rainbow is no more in the cloud

Tears run to win the Olympics

Cross and re-cross the finish line

Only to forget the unforgettable

Thou with a sempiternal wound to nurse
