Tears of Hills

Upon a hill the sky flashed

Blue,

And then grey as the gods released their

Tears.

Their tears they carved and cut away,

The hill that once stood strong.

The hill it cried

Its wails unheard untill

It stood no more.

Now upon the land where the hill once stood,

Seeds brought forth a bloom.

Blossomed and grown,

Trees sprout forth,

Upon that very ground.

The hill it cried

Its wails unheard untill

It stood no more.

Soon enough the trees brought fourth,

Fruit unlike any other,

Animal and man flocked from all around,

To taste the mighty fruit,

Upon that very ground.

The hill it cried

Its wails heard by all untill,

It stood once more.
