TEARS OF A POOR CHILD
*TEARS OF A POOR CHILD*
You strike me as if I deserved,
You declared war on me like a criminal,
In a second you got me sterved,
You got me full timer like a busy terminal,
You created a new planet of misery for me.
Poverty! your arms are the longest,
Your mouth,the most widest,
Devouring like flames of fire on dry grass,
You make me look like the most ugliest,
You deny every moment of happiness,
Neither will i,utter on you the word forgiveness.
In the company of many,
You have me outstanding,
In nothing attractive but,
In tattered and torn clothes,
You make me not to be anyone's favourite,
Ever in my broken shoes.
You've branded me a ridiculous name,
I find it hating,
You've made me less reasoning,
You got yourself a niche in our home with no shame,
Like forever in no hurry to leaving,
You got us chained forever!
You've send many brilliant brains to streets,
Making them sell even their freedom of expression to rich,
Making them beggers of pebble even for sweets,
While the fortunate keep on to flourish,
What unfair share i got!
You make me bite more than i can chew,
Always my feet being washed by the morning dew,
Knocking the doors of the fortunate to see if they got any residue,
Sometimes my innocent greetings taken for begging.
You've instilled doubtful feelings in me,
You make me perceive my parents as failures,
Yet they explore all possibles means in their time,
From hand to mouth is all they can offer,
Making me become a victim of circumstances,
Like where did i go wrong?, or what wrong did i do??
Heaven has it all.
