THE TEARS OF RAIN

Oh, give to me that saddened song
That forever endless longed.
Within a heart to which belonged,
The fires of depth's lonely pain.
Who sheds its' tears through Heavens' rain.

Oh, give to me unsalted pain.
Sift, through clouded filters drain,

Pure waters down upon my crown.
Cleanse of me impurity.
Roll dripping from my fettered brow.

Then to the Earth below, way down,
Clinging to some leafy green.
Lend to it wet, a cleansing sheen.
That drops purely to the ground.
Leaving pain, as dust float 'round.
