TEARS OF THE UNSEEN

A mixed reaction

To what action

A satisfaction

Worth to auction

The story never told

The pain never known

Yet we sit,  lay down

Lie to ourselves

Our journey is complete

All is perfect

But is it?

A closer look

A Sharp stare

From the eye that

Tells little but

Narrates a bunch

Now i ask

Where did we go wrong?

Education is key,

More or less,

That’s what they say,

Bills after bills

Amendments after amendments

To cater for the hopeless…

But is there any hope left ?

The can, yes that can

Grasped hard, on one hand

Half way full

Flavored juice? I guess

And the thin voice, i heard

“My only food,”

Yes, “glue, my only food”

Everyone pass by them

All day long

And the sad voice

” nibaiye lunch sister”

” nibaiye lunch bro”

And the only reward

For such a beautiful soul,

Not a word or a just mere stare

” don’t touch me” on every passerby face

Sad though…
