Tease

It's like a ghost of a feeling.

They only haunt me once a month now.

They used to always visit me at night.

Making sure I was lonely.

But now it's almost like,

They choose to be less obvious.

As if they believe it'll hurt me more,

If they only sightly tough the surface.

And... They were right.

At least for the nights they were there it wasn't that lonely.

And I had a reason to feel, though bad, it was real.

Now I live misunderstood.

Because you took your love away.

And they haunt me once a month.

Tease me every now and then,

Of what I'll never feel

Again.
