The Teenage Years

The Teenage Years

The ups and the downs. The all around. Nights of joyous cuddling. Nights of pick-up line muddling. Nervous tests and awaiting scores. Bonfires and downright delicious s'mores. Deep thinking and self-discovery. Playing sports and injury recovery. Studying, sleeping, partying and playing. Wonderful highs and devastating lows. Asking , who are we? We are teenagers. And these are the teenage years.

Had so many issues uploading this. Hope it ended up in the right section to be included in the scholarship poetry slam. Tried to write it in a normal poem format but would only let me do a paragraph.
