The world has blessed you with love
And hope
And courage

But it has also given you pain
And despair
And loss

Outside the telescope you look through
Most of your life
Through which you see
The confusion and misunderstandings between family
And the mistakes you may have made
But seem to dwell on

There lies the strength
You use to get up every morning

And the courage you have
When you put another step forward
With tears kissing your face

Outside the narrow vision you live in
There are mountains you can move
And fresh Earth you can rise
