Tell Me

Tell me I'm ugly.

Tell me I'm sad.

Tell me I'm the worst you've ever had.

Tell me I'm crazy.

Tell me I'm wrong.

Tell me you never cared all along.

Tell me I'm angry.

Tell me I'm dumb.

Maybe someday I'll feel too numb.

Tell me these things,

I'll swear they are true.

But tell meI'm pretty

Or tell me I'm glad.

Tell me I'm lovely

Or possibly rad.

I'll look straight in your eyes

And say,

"Stop all of your lies."

Because all I've ever wanted

Is the truth.
