Tell Me

Tell me some thing meaningful.

Tell me you're sorry.

Tell me you LOVE ME.

Tell me something... and

Mean it.

Tell me something harsh and vengeful.

Tell me you hate me with your whole being.

Tell me I will wish I had never been born.

Tell me something... and

Regret it.

Tell me something sad.

Tell me someone I hold close got hurt.

Tell me my dog died.

Tell me something... and

Empathize.

Now let me tell YOU something.

Let me tell you that I don't care what you think of me.

Let me tell you I'm perfect the way I am.

Let me tell you something... and

Have you LISTEN.

I love words... I actually started out writing lyrics for songs and then I realized how much more I can express myself through poetry. One of my teachers pushed me to join the writing club at school and the book that the club published had so many amazing writers that I decided that I wanted to be a part of that community. When I write my poetry about a topic that means something to me it makes me feel freer, like a weight lifts off my shoulders every time and I LOVE IT!
