Tell Me...

If you were to leave one day,

Even though I wouldn’t want to think of such a day

A day when you are to never return

Walk away and never look back

Hit a straight road without ever turning around

Even though you consider my presence your home

If I no longer act as the symbol of your peace

Even though my smile kinda calms your soul

If I was no longer your sweet morning melody

The kind that compliments your heart beat

The rhythm that spikes up your world

If you would ever lose faith in my dreams

If my love ever become insufficient

Or maybe, I happen to become used to you

Even though you have a way to excite me each day

If I constantly become hurting to you

And the thrill with us is no longer breaking up to make up

That you feel the pieces of your heart are over patched

If it’ll dawn one day that for the peace of mind, you'll part from me

If it’ll dawn one day that for happiness you will have to leave

If you’ll ever have to walk away from me, tell me love

Will you take your broken soul to someone?

Or will you take your troubled mind somewhere

That I know certain things about you

That you value that precious shoulder to lean on

That there are places that calm you down when troubled

Tell me love, is it somewhere or someone?
