Tell Me More

Tell me all about you
I want to hear
Your dreams
Your hopes
All that you fear
I wouldn’t mind knowing about you
Are you as intriguing as you seem?
Probably
I don’t know
Finish telling me your stories
Tell me everything
I want to know
Something about you that keeps me on my toes
On the edge
Ready and willing
To listen to you go on about your innermost feelings
Your views on life
Who you were in your past
How you’ve managed to escape
How you’ve managed to outlast the others
Wait!
This is the best part!
Can you believe it?
Does it even shock you on how far you’ve come?
I wanna stop asking questions
But there’s more I need to know
What lies between those eyes
All that exists in that strong & beautiful soul
Tell me more
Because I’m dying to know

I write poems sometimes, and I like good music.
