tell me why

Tell Me Why

Tell me why we die and why we’re so scared of it?

Tell me why people assimilate and try to be white and it’s their ethnicity they hide.

Tell me why we have to beg schools to let us pay them and put ourselves in debt so we can get a piece of paper that lets us pursue our desired career.

Tell me why we are forced into jobs and tell me why we ridicule those who take the road less taken by.

Tell me why as a society we have set up a criteria of acceptance and why we force others to abide by it when we verbally encourage “difference”.

Tell me why we exaggerate our problems where in retrospect we our microscopic in comparison to the universe.

Tell me why we say “love” so loosely if none of us can truly define it.

Tell me why we care so much when nothing last forever and nothing matters through time.

Tell me why we cling on to what hurts us.

Tell me why we care so much about what people think of us, and tell me why we let opinion of others mold our personalities.

Tell me why religion was made. Is it because of the fear brought by death?

Tell me why we let trepidation hold us back when experience is what validates life.

Tell me why you continue if reality is so cruel.

Tell me what self made fuel makes you run.

Tell me why you live.
