Tell Me Why
Tell me why life has to be so compliacted
With many ups and downs
And lots of turn arounds
Growing up is not how I anticipated
Tell me why the one you like doesn't like you back
I've tried everything
But he never seems to notice me
Maybe there's some beauty that I lack
Tell me why society is so cruel
Girls don't have to be a size two
Makeup shouldn't be what makes guys drool
It should be the fact that we can use tools
Tell me why school is so hard
It's like everywhere there's a who's hot, who's not board
Who's going to make it, who's not board
All i want is to make a shut up and kiss the floor board
Tell me why people can be so mean
Bullying can cause so much violence
But all you see when you pass by is silence
I should punch you but I won't be mean like you
Tell me why we should look up to you
You don't rule the school
To me you're just a fool
We don't need you, pack your stuff and move
Tell me why there are class rankings
We don't need a class president or v.p.
We don't need a democracy
All of it is bogus, you see
Tell me why there are people who think they're better
All they do is pack themselves with makeup on
It oftne looks like cake batter
Many don't need to pack on a ton
Tell me why people want to be like others
Can't they see we can be ourselves
Leave looking like one another to the otters
Or maybe the dancing elves
Tell me why we have to like you
When all you do is judge
People are afraid of you
But I am not, I can judge too
Tell me WHY?
