Tell The Truth Tuesday

Tell The Truth Tuesday

If eyes are really the window to one’s soul, then I choose to keep my eyes closed

Others can’t handle what my eyes will expose

Borderline poverty having multiple hustles to get my babies school clothes

Lay on my back? No, never, but I will become that thief in the night

That’s the con I chose

Trust, I’m not judging the hoes

That’s the con they chose

You get to the point where you don’t care who knows

Some of you are scared to admit how you truly get on your toes

I see the apprehension on your face, it shows

People act like they never have lows

So, since your faults you don’t want to expose

I’m keeping the 2 windows to my soul closed

I give no fucks if you are one of my friends or one of my foes

I kind of like when no one knows
