Telling None is Telling All

Deep is dark and dark is deep

help to hope

and hope to sleep

and rack my brain to stop the think

the think that will not let me sink

into the dark I long for so

and yet the dark won't let me go

When dark is light and light is black

Looking forward

Looking back

Is new so new as old is old

Is fourth time charmed

or third time gold

Is every ticking moment sane

when all the seconds are in vain.

So as I toss and turn in

pools of bleach

which subtly soothe the scrapes

of tissue being blown away

into the night

by me

the creep

And will I think another week

when weeks have been behind me looking forward to this time

and nothing's really working out

and life has ceased to rhyme

and longing love and strengthened bonds

grow apparently weaker by the day

I wish I could just say to you

but hell,

what would I say?

"Old is there, it's loud and clear, its happened thrice before. But do past musings truly count if

love's worth fighting for?"

War is war and end is end but dwindling memories pretend to speak the truth and lace with lies the long dead person I despise

who was me and me was who

Kick myself

You'll be the shoe.

So giving up seems what I'll 'do'

but knowing true gives way to true

I suppose its been nice

knowing you

I'll pack my bags

won't  bother you

for my emotions always smother you...

Mystery is metaphor

and metaphor is rhyme

and reading must go space by space

and line by

line

by

line.

I am a poet, musician, and strong proponent of LGBTQ rights, gender equality, and being your true self no matter what ANYONE says. Do what you please, comment anything that comes to your mind, make you happy first. Then your dog/cat. That's pretty much it. Hail Santa. THE END.
