The Temple of Ganesh
Swirling mist encases my feet,
Dark and dreary, it dances in front of my eyes,
Keeping me shut out from the path I take,
I stumble through the flaccid plants,
Clinging to me like babies for warmth.
Alone in the darkness
Two eyes stare watching,
Following my footsteps, as would a mother,
Still the silence creeps down my spine,
Bringing me closer to the unknowing.
Through the veil comes a bright shine,
With the body of an arch
The head points toward the doorway,
Leading back to the living,
I come out of the nightmare
