Temporary

Sometimes I feel temporary Ordinary

An oddly shaped stain on the ceiling People look

Some look longer some may drag out a ladder to come feign interest But

Now I’m just waiting for a person Any person

Someone to come along and scrub and scrub The tang of bleach

Then there will be no more stain No ugly

Distraction from the pictures On the walls

I know I’m Temporary
