Temporary
I can’t take it
The stress, the pain, the voices
I can’t take it
The lies, the paranoia, the spirits
I can’t take it
The loss, the judgement, the yelling, the sarcasm
I can’t take it
The past, the future, the present
I can’t take it
The insecurity, the weight gain, the acne
I can’t take it
The irritation, the procrastination, the negative energy
I can’t take it
I can’t take it
I can’t take it
No, no, I can’t take it
I can’t…
And then I see that I’m still here
After everything, I’m still here
After experiencing all that I’ve experienced…
I’m still here
Because my stubborn soul still urges me toward
To where? I don’t know…
But I do know everything is temporary
And I know the only direction you can go in life is forward
Maybe I can take it, maybe I can’t
Guess I’ll just wait and see if I lose my mind again
Guess I’ll just wait and see how long before I can begin my life again
