Temporary Loner

I guess for now I am a loner With dreams of how I’d hold her The one who means the most to me Although I’ve never known her. Don’t have time for all the others, Who aren’t my true lovers? Show yourself so I can dodge the pain that I would suffer. That’s one thing I don’t need The feeling that I won’t keep The women that I love Or presume to love When she won’t love me. That’s why I’m a loner I wait for my eternal lover, For then I know that she’ll love me as much as I will love her.
