Temptations in Flesh

A desire for drugs, 
That damage your lungs, 

A desire for lust, 
That shows barely trust, 

A desire to drink, 
When your brain doesn't think, 

A desire to lie, 
Where the truth is hard to apply, 

A desire to disobey, 
Of your actions that portray, 

A desire to greed, 
While most people are in need, 

A desire to hate, 
Where your mind is not straight, 

A desire to kill, 
Taking a life against their will, 

 
Now all this is unwise, 

Seeing it through the human eyes…
