As Tender As I Am

Your work is so close and so personal
To the point I find myself uncomftable

A story about eases, and struggles.
A story from strangers I usually don't let in my bubble.

Too shallow to hear about other thoughts that aren't mine,
Too weak to handle heavy thoughts other then mine.

Yet here I am, sharing your pain.
Yet there you are, just the same.

As tender as I am,
As tender as I am...

You're the only one. With you, we can stand.

This poem is about:
Me
