Tenebris and Tatem

Mon, 08/21/2017 - 17:32 -- Katia

There was a girl

Who smiled the brightest smile that you have ever seen

But that same girl was fighting battles that you couldn’t see

Sometimes the ones

Who smile the brightest

Are the most pained inside

She was captured by a monster that kept her in the dark

Tenebris kept her trapped in her own home

He told her lies that she knew weren’t true

But after time she started to believe his lalolues

Tenebris left from time to time and she could see again

But lalolues still haunted her she can’t be free again

When Tenebris has left she felt at ease again

But not long after that another monster came

This monster had a new name, he’s different from Ten,

The name of his was Tatem

She felt alone again

Tatem made her wrookle

He told her different lies

She’s always in a panic

But smiles outside

And still nobody noticed that smile was a fake

She’s trying to scream out but Tenebris is back

She tries to break the cages

To open up that door

But they are getting bigger

She’s losing all control.

Why won’t somebody notice

Just look her in the eyes

Just look and you will see her story

How pained she is inside

She’s tired of all the faking

No smiles anymore

She lives with all the lalolues from Tenebris and more

And now she’s always wrookle from all of Tatem’s lies

She’s done, she can’t go on

She forgot what she should have remembered

She remembered what she should forget

She can’t take the pain much longer

The monsters drove her insane

Now she stands on the edge of a building

As people pass by underneath

The eyes that once held so much brightness

Are filled with unstoppable tears

There she is on the edge

One step from her doom

Tenebris and Tatem are still with her too

They start to come nearer

She needs one more push

No one was her hero

The monsters overtook
