Tennessee Memories

I woke up to the sound of the train and there's cold footsteps and nightly charades. All of these memories echo in my mind. The first rays of sun peek through the trees and my silhouette dances all around me. Each mountain and every valley beholds a beauty I've never known. Our laughter fills the open air and cold water washes over us. Oh how I love those lightning bugs and the curve of these country roads. The warm air fills up my lungs; it's never tasted so sweet. The rapids whip away and I hang on because I want to stay. Oh how these memories echo in my mind. I bid farewell to this beautiful place, I know I'll never forget the look on your face. Tennessee you've been good to me and maybe one day I'll come home to you.
