Tension Builds

I breath stress into the air as i pace

Nowhere to turn but to a peice of paper on a desk

staring at it gets us nowhere,

stewing in frustration gets us no where even more

Feeling like I'm someone, but barrelly...

Feeling like the tension in my heart is built to a maximum...

Can't sleep? write. Can't eat? Write. Can't reason with the hands life has delt me?

Write. Grab the pen and jot down words.. feelings, ANYTHING!

Anything to keep this tension inside from exploding into actions!

Write anything to calm myself and keep my cool...

Because my anger? My saddness? My stress? It builds...

violence never solved my problems in the past...

A thick notebook and a thin black sharpy to keep my worlds in bold ink

Those words mean everything to me, and I don't need aproval for them

No one judges these words or circles my "errors"

These are for me...placed into a form of art

No one can take away my stress releasing paragraphs...

I'll keep this. because tension? It builds. then i put it on paper.

This peom reflects on how i feel when i write my poems. I've writen a few that don't match up to this kind of poetry. perhaps when i can't sleep, as it says in the peom. But i mostly write to help let out my frustrations and stress because i feel like its the best way to keep myself sane sometimes. I enjoy poetry and although mine doesn't quite flow the way other poetry does, i enjoy my own writing, and i beleive thats all that matters.
